Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to oversee the daily operations of our food service establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock and inventory.
  • Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, wastage, and other relevant data, preparing and submitting reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Basic security clearance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, standing for extended periods, and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
Work Environment:

Our food service establishment is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and quality food products. The successful candidate will be required to work in a hot environment, with exposure to odours, and will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail at all times.
