Job Title: Domestic Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Devender Gauba. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Management: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Ironing: Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens as needed.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Work in employer's/client's home.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, sitting, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, excellent written communication, values and ethics, patience, and honesty.
