Job Title: Domestic Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at James Ayaeze. As a Domestic Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.
  • Housekeeping: Make beds, change sheets, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry: Launder clothing and household linens.
  • Shopping: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Additional Tasks: Wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Private residence.
  • Physical Demands: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, values, and ethics.
Language:

English is the primary language spoken in this role.

Work Hours:

36.25 hours per week.
