Domestic Housekeeper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team at Sharief Residence. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our home.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Laundry and Linens: Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens as needed.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • General Assistance: Provide general assistance to the household as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking environment.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values and ethics, honesty.

Please note that this is a permanent position, working 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
