Job Title: Domestic Housekeeper

James Ayaeze is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our household staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Chores: Stock linen closet, clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Ironing: Launder clothing and household linens, wash windows, walls, and ceilings.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking.
  • Work Setting: Private residence.
  • Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, values, and ethics.
Experience:
  • Duration: 1 to less than 7 months.
  • Employment Type: Permanent.
  • Language: English.
  • Working Hours: 36.25 hours per week.
