About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobilizing.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform delegated nursing acts according to company policy and scope of practice.
  • Communicate and report relevant information regarding resident care or safety to Supervisor.
About You

We are looking for a candidate who is registered in Nova Scotia's Continuing Care Assistants Registry and has a valid Continuing Care Certification or equivalent. You should be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. A passion for the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care is essential.
