About the Position

We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team at First Transit Canada. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
  • Work collaboratively with other drivers and transportation staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Ability to undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.

  • A competitive starting wage of $20.56 per hour.
  • A $2500 sign-on bonus for fully licensed drivers.
