About the Position

We are seeking a skilled School Bus Mechanic to join our team at First Student. As a Licensed Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our fleet of school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual MTO maintenance inspections.
  • Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions.
  • Ensure work orders are completed accurately.
  • Assist with mobile emergency services.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Holds an S and/or T license.
  • Possesses a mechanic's tool set.
  • Willingness to participate in ASE certification program.
