About the Position

As a Licensed Mechanic with First Student, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing school buses to ensure vehicle readiness and safety. Key responsibilities include:

* Assisting with preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual MTO maintenance inspections
* Diagnosing and performing all phases of vehicle and equipment repair, including brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions
* Ensuring accurate completion of work orders
* Providing mobile emergency services

Requirements

* Valid driver's license required
* Holds an S and/or T license
* Possesses a mechanics tool set
* Willingness to participate in ASE certification program, with training, testing, and bonuses provided
