We are seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team at First Transit Canada. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school.
Key Responsibilities- Operate a school bus in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
- Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
- Work collaboratively with other drivers and transportation staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- At least 21 years old.
- Ability to undergo and pass a Ministry prescribed medical examination and background checks.
- A competitive starting wage of $20.56 per hour.
- A $2500 sign-on bonus for fully licensed drivers.
- A $1000 sign-on bonus for new drivers.
- Free training and development opportunities.
- A guaranteed minimum of 3 hours of work per day.
- Additional hours available through charter route opportunities.
