Reliance Impact is seeking an experienced High-Rise Construction Director to lead its high-rise construction projects in Toronto.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with experience in managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion. A competitive salary range of $200,000 - $250,000 and comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Job Overview:

As a key member of the Reliance Impact team, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing construction strategies aligned with company goals. You will lead and manage a construction team to deliver projects on time and within budget, while collaborating with project managers to provide regular project updates.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Oversee Construction Strategies: Work closely with senior management to develop and implement construction strategies that meet company objectives.
  • Lead and Manage Construction Team: Direct and oversee the activities of the construction team, ensuring timely completion of projects and adherence to budgets.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers: Provide regular project updates and coordinate with project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Foster Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and trades to optimize project efficiency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Construction Expertise: Proven experience in managing high-rise construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills with a proven track record of leading large project teams and driving project success.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Education and Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management role within the construction industry, ideally with high-rise or multi-family residential focus. Post-secondary degree/diploma in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
