Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead our High-Rise Construction projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.

About the Role:

  • Manage all aspects of High-Rise Construction projects, including project scope definition, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Prioritize, plan, and coordinate potential risks and technical challenges, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Liaise with partners, consultants, construction management teams, building trades, and municipal staff to ensure collaborative efforts.
  • Responsible for financial monitoring, forecasting, and reporting, keeping stakeholders informed of schedule progress, design changes, and potential overruns.
  • Coordinate permit applications, drawings, and documents prior to submission, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Lead consultant working drawing groups and meetings, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Conduct project reviews, generate reports as required, and analyze data to inform decision-making.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in Hi-Rise/Multi-Residential construction, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • A university or college degree in a related field, such as planning, engineering, architecture, or construction management, or equivalent experience.

Educational Background and Work Experience:

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Excel. They will also demonstrate resilience under stress and pressure to meet deadlines, with a strong analytical mind and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

This role requires frequent sitting, talking, and hearing, with occasional standing, walking, and manual handling tasks. The successful candidate will be able to lift and move up to 10 pounds and possess good vision abilities, including close, distance, and depth perception.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000-$150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
