Job Title: Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team at Le Citadin 2022 I.N.C. as an apartment building caretaker.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairs, and upkeep of the building and its grounds. This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs; operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris; empty trash cans and other waste containers; wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; contact tradespersons for major repairs; perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Other Duties: Perform safety and security checks; move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies; clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in French.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
