About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Ainsworth. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our buildings and providing excellent service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure the overall condition of the building
- Respond to maintenance requests from clients and building management
- Conduct repairs and replacements of various building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
- Operate a nacelle and perform tasks at heights
- Install and repair furniture and shelving
- Perform other related tasks as required
Requirements
- Completion of a locksmithing program or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in general maintenance work
- Experience with nacelle operation and high-rise work (an asset)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position working a standard day shift. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and may be required to work at heights.
