Job Title: Heavy Duty On Highway Truck Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty On Highway Truck Mechanic to join our team at Aecon. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our heavy equipment and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on heavy equipment and trucks.
  • Inspect and diagnose issues with equipment and trucks.
  • Repair and maintain equipment and trucks to manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide guidance and instruction to less experienced maintenance personnel.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a certified Heavy Duty On Highway Truck Mechanic.
  • Journeyman Certificate (Red Seal) Heavy Equipment Technician.
  • CVIP certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
