Retail Store Manager

WANDERING RIVER QUICK STOP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our gas bar and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Train Staff: Lead and motivate a team of staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
- Merchandise Management: Oversee the inventory and merchandising of our store, ensuring that our products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
- Sales and Customer Service: Foster a positive and welcoming environment for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other operational challenges.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Work Setting: Rural area, gas bar
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Outlook
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, dependability, initiative, judgement, ability to multitask
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 30 to 40 hours per week
- English Language: Work language is English
