Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at 9188-5111 QUEBEC INC. as a Logistics Specialist. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Vehicles: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods, taking care to prevent damage and ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Perform Preventive Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles, performing routine checks and repairs as needed to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Record and Track Data: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, providing valuable insights for our logistics team.
  • Transport Hazardous Materials: Safely transport and handle hazardous goods, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 3 or D driver's license.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as a truck driver, with a strong understanding of logistics and transportation principles.
  • Language: Fluency in English or French, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts and schedules as needed.
