About the Job

We are seeking full-time long-haul truck drivers to work from our Montreal branch.

As a truck driver for our Canadian Trucking service, you will be assigned to short and long-distance routes, with varied trips and flexible schedules.

You will be responsible for driving a armored truck or a tractor-trailer as part of a team of drivers or a convoy.

As a member of the Canadian Trucking team, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the assigned vehicle and equipment in good condition and safety, including pre-trip inspections and occasional roadside repairs.
  • Maintaining a daily log, in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and the Canadian Hours of Service Regulations.
  • Complying with all regulations related to safety, security, and operations, in accordance with company policy, ensuring the protection of the team, the public, and the transported goods.
  • Actively participating in loading and unloading trucks.
  • Completing all paper transactions rigorously, ensuring that all required signatures are obtained.
  • Knowing daily reports, cross-border documentation, bills of lading, and incident/accident reports.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • A valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A valid firearms license (possession and acquisition permit for restricted and non-restricted firearms).
  • Ability to work in Canada and the United States.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including night shifts or multiple-day trips.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) for trips to the United States and Canada.
  • Experience in customs clearance is considered an asset.
