Job Title: Landscaping Supervisor

Eco Care Constructions Inc. is seeking a skilled Landscaping Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our grounds maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of grounds maintenance staff, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Plan and Direct Grounds Maintenance: Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure our outdoor spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Conduct site assessments to determine the necessary materials and labour required for projects, ensuring accurate estimates and timely completion.
  • Organize and Direct Construction of Decks and Decorative or Retaining Walls: Oversee the construction of outdoor structures, ensuring they are built to the highest standards and meet our company's quality expectations.
  • Plan, Manage, and Supervise Landscape Construction Work: Coordinate with contractors and staff to ensure seamless execution of landscape construction projects.
  • Requisition or Order Materials, Equipment, and Supplies: Source and procure necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support grounds maintenance operations.
  • Resolve Work Problems, Provide Technical Advice, and Recommend Measures to Improve Productivity and Product Quality: Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and implement strategies to enhance team performance and quality of work.
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
