Job Title: Landscaper

We are seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team at Southview Landscaping Inc. As a Landscaper, you will be responsible for managing landscaping projects, estimating costs, and ensuring the health and beauty of our clients' outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage landscaping projects from start to finish, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Estimate costs and materials required for each project, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens, applying fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides as needed.
  • Assess the health of lawns and diagnose problems with trees and shrubs, implementing solutions to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other uses.
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, ensuring they meet our high standards.
  • Work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties, and adapt to changing weather conditions.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in horticulture or a related field an asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
