Job Title: Landscaper

We are seeking a skilled Landscaper to join our team at Southview Landscaping Inc. as a key member of our outdoor spaces management team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing landscaping projects, estimating costs, and ensuring the health and beauty of our clients' lawns and gardens. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage landscaping projects from start to finish, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Estimate costs and prepare budgets for projects.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens, ensuring they receive the necessary care and maintenance.
  • Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn care products as needed.
  • Assess the health of lawns and diagnose problems and diseases in trees and shrubs.
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental purposes, and other uses.
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens, including trees and shrubs.
  • Work in a variety of outdoor environments, including residential and commercial properties.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in landscaping or a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
