Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Account Director to lead our IT Asset Disposition team. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for the oversight and management of your direct reports, who manage Upstream Customer Accounts. You will also handle aspects of account development, including prospecting future opportunities, strategic development of prospects, meeting and closing of opportunities, and ongoing relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a small team of direct reports and provide guidance on account development strategies
  • Develop and recommend short-term and long-range strategic sales plans and revenue goals to ensure the fulfillment of the company's business plan objectives
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to transition new clients to a professionally managed portfolio of accounts
  • Establish business relationships by building trust and rapport with customers
  • Lead regular meetings as a member of the Business Development team and report on active pursuits, wins, losses, opportunities, and upcoming engagements
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Broad knowledge of computer components and IT equipment
  • Leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing a small team
  • Ability to develop and implement effective account development strategies
