Private Chef and Butler Job Description

Charles MacPherson Associates Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Chef and Butler to join our team. As a key member of our household, you will be responsible for providing exceptional culinary services, household management, and impeccable butler skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve exquisite meals for our family and guests, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Manage household staff, including chefs, butlers, and housekeepers, to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinate and execute special events, parties, and gatherings, including menu planning, decorations, and logistics.
  • Assist with household maintenance, repairs, and renovations, ensuring our home remains in pristine condition.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to requests, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Manage household budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial transparency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our services.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Private Chef and Butler, preferably in a similar household setting.
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional culinary services and household management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide staff.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable mindset.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
