Job Title: Public Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Accounting Manager to join our team at Kressler Recruitment Corp. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional financial services to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Public Accounting Manager will be responsible for conducting external audits, reviews, and compilations, as well as preparing financial statements and tax returns. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with client management, assisting with training and overseeing staff accountants, and performing financial and systems analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct external audit, review, and compilation engagements
  2. Prepare financial statements and notes
  3. Perform financial and systems analysis
  4. Preparation of personal and corporate income tax returns
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with client management
  6. Assist with training and overseeing staff accountants
Requirements:
  1. Accounting/business diploma/degree
  2. CPA designation is required
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  4. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  5. Experience with CCH suite of programs, Sage, Quickbooks preferred but not required
  6. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  7. Good organizational skills
  8. Effectively monitors multiple or complex projects regularly to check how they are progressing against deadlines and budget
  9. Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business and maintain strong client relationships
  10. Dedicated and motivated to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties
