Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Stevens E3. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying current and future customer service requirements, conducting background research on clients and their businesses, and selling exhibits to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Build Client Relationships

  • Establish rapport with clients to identify future customer service requirements
  • Develop a campaign strategy, prepare and present proposals, concepts, storyboards, and other copy
  • Sell exhibits, attend shows, and supervise exhibit set-ups as required
  • Identify new business opportunities and prospect for additional business through new and existing clients
  • Qualify leads and ensure quality service delivery and professional standards in a timely and cost-efficient manner

Service Client Accounts

  • Meet with clients to determine client objectives, requirements, and expectations
  • Answer questions and requests, and maintain regular communication with customers
  • Provide clients with recommendations and solutions, and ensure quality service delivery and professional standards in a timely and cost-efficient manner
  • Maintain current and accurate databases of clients

Prepare Reports

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize account information and trends
  • Maintain a funnel and complete necessary sales forms/DER sheets as related to process
  • Prepare final client contracts, obtain approvals, and deposit

Communication

  • Lead internal pre- and post-sales meetings to ensure understanding of client and project needs
  • Obtain client budget and design parameters, and enter design/quote docket
  • Interact with company employees to share information for proposal generation, job costing, and servicing clients
  • Facilitate change orders/modifications as needed, and follow up on overdue receivables
  • Chair sales function meetings

Required Skills/Experience/Education:

  • Previous experience in the trade show industry
  • Post-secondary education required, college degree in marketing, communication, public relations, or a related discipline preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Minimum 3 years of Account Management experience
