We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Merivale Noodle House. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to ensure profitability and efficiency
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior culinary role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment

Our kitchen is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will be working with a team of experienced chefs and kitchen staff. You will be required to work in a hot and cold environment, and be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
