Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
- Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality in all dishes.
- Manage food costs, inventory, and supplies to ensure optimal efficiency and minimize waste.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and services.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- 2-3 years of experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a high-volume restaurant or catering environment.
- Proven track record of leading a team and achieving high-quality results.
- Excellent culinary skills, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health and safety standards.
- Fast-paced kitchen environment with high volume of food preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
