Financial Planning and Analysis Role

The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is a critical component of Lyft's decision-making process. We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Rideshare team, who will play a key role in driving revenue growth and financial visibility.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Develop and maintain financial models to support revenue forecasting and analysis.
    • Produce accurate and timely financial reports to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Forecasting and Analytics
    • Collaborate with internal teams to refine forecasting of estimated actuals.
    • Support the development of financial analytics to enhance visibility into the business.
  • Partnerships and Collaboration
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive robust forecasting and analytics for revenue growth.
    • Act as a subject matter expert in finance for gross bookings, driver earnings, and marketplace dynamics.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Finance) with at least 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Demonstrated ability to develop complex financial models with excellent quantitative analysis and forecasting skills.
    • Proven capability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
    • Comfort in dealing with ambiguity and the ability to derive insights from incomplete information.
    • Familiarity with SQL and ERP systems, such as Oracle Essbase or Anaplan, is preferred.
