Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our Group FP&A team as a key member. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for spearheading insights and analysis for Global Revenue and Gross Margin. You will leverage database software to integrate large datasets from various sources, providing actionable analytics and recommendations to drive strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Weekly Sales Reporting: Provide weekly sales reporting to the Executive team, including revenue and KPI projections.
  • Monthly Analysis: Conduct monthly analysis regarding segment and gross margin performance.
  • Annual Budgeting and Forecasting: Actively participate in the consolidation and analysis of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and actual results, specific to Revenue and Gross Margin. This includes coordination with various stakeholders across the organization and the preparation of management reports and presentations.
  • Process Improvement: Drive process improvement initiatives, ensuring process changes are appropriately implemented, documented, and communicated.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Prepare ad-hoc analysis as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in a financial planning & analysis role.
  • Education: Holds one or more professional designation i.e. CPA or MBA.
  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in a retail or manufacturing environment is a definite asset.
  • Technical Skills: Solid understanding of IFRS and/or US GAAP, Advanced Excel skills, and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to think creatively, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
