About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Administrator to join our team at MetCap Living. As a Property Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our commercial properties, apartments, and public housing units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and Approve Leases: Negotiate or approve rental or lease agreements on behalf of property owners, ensuring that terms are met and contracts are administered.
  • Property Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate the implementation of repairs, maintenance, and renovations to ensure that properties are well-maintained and meet safety standards.
  • Financial Management: Compile and maintain records on operating expenses and income, ensuring that financial reports are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Mac OS and other relevant software.
  • Area of Specialization: Commercial properties, apartments, public housing, and retail stores.
  • Transportation and Travel: Willing to travel as required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in property administration or a related field.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 38 to 40 hours per week.
