About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Clinical Business Analyst to join our team at Mariner Innovations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing clinical data, improving healthcare processes, and ensuring the efficient operation of clinical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the Creation of Clinical Standards: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, IT teams, and stakeholders to develop and implement standard order sets, documentation templates, and workflows used by physicians, nurses, and other regulated health professionals.
  2. Business Requirements Gathering and Design: Work closely with team members, Subject Matter Experts, and clinical stakeholders to gather business requirements and design new standards to be adopted province-wide.
  3. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert on the impact of Clinical Information Systems (CISs) and digitization of clinical processes on the design of content, workflows, and procedures.
  4. Project Planning and Problem-Solving: Assist in developing and maintaining high-level project plans and contribute to complex problem-solving of processes.
  5. Business and System Requirements: Gather and define business and system requirements, conduct gap analysis, develop design documents, and facilitate engagement sessions to achieve project objectives.
  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and maintain close working relationships with various lines of business to ensure business and information technology requirements align.
Requirements
  1. Education: University Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  2. Experience: 10 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst, with 3 years of experience in health information systems and/or healthcare operations.
  3. Skills: Demonstrated experience with clinical business analysis, leadership experience on clinical information solution implementation projects, and expertise in project management tools and methodologies.
  4. Additional Requirements: Experience working with multiple stakeholders, leading teams, and managing healthcare initiatives, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite.
