Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst - Consolidation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for consolidating various business segments monthly using Solver BI360, preparing and analyzing the consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statement, and analyzing and reporting on the performance of our various business segments.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate various business segments monthly using Solver BI360.
- Prepare and analyze the consolidated balance sheet and cash flow statement.
- Analyze and report on the performance of our various business segments.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand the performance of the business segments.
- Create and improve analyses using the Power BI tool.
- Participate in drawing up the annual budget.
- Prepare all documentation intended for the board of Directors and the external auditors.
- Participate in the year-end audit process and in the complete preparation of the financial statements.
- Develop and maintain the profitability matrix impacting our minority investors ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Contribute to the integration of new business segments and acquisitions in the consolidation process.
- Participate in the improvement of the current consolidation process and the allocation methodology of the various expenditures.
- Ensure that new business segments and acquisitions are properly accounted for in the consolidation process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline and a CPA designation (CFE completed at minimum).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the industry and/or in a complex multi-company environment.
- Bilingual (French and English) as you will need to communicate with unilingual English-speaking employees in other provinces.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Navision and/or Solver BI360.
- Excellent skills at multi-tasking and adapting to changing needs of the organization.
