Financial Analyst II

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst II to join our Group FP&A team at Intact Financial Corporation.
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in evaluating the financial performance of our global operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in preparing the weekly group forecast, contributing to the annual planning process, and providing insightful analyses to support senior management's decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare the weekly group forecast and participate in the annual budget process.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to gather updates and analyze data to provide actionable insights.
- Develop and maintain key financial and operational reports to ensure accuracy and provide a comparative view of various KPIs.
- Assist in the monthly forecast discussion preparation and support team members in special projects and day-to-day responsibilities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Three to five years of finance, accounting, or actuarial experience.
- Professional designation (e.g., CPA, CFA) or working towards one.
- Insurance industry experience and modeling skills are assets.
- Strong planning, organization, and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
