Job Title: General Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Store Manager to join our team at Sixteen Nine Enterprises Inc.

Job Summary:

The General Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, including managing staff, assigning duties, and implementing marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage staff and assign duties to ensure efficient store operations
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and sales volumes
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, and implement price and credit policies
  • Locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure profitability
  • Determine staffing requirements and recruit, hire, and supervise staff and/or volunteers
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure high-quality customer service
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in retail management
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment:

The General Store Manager will work in a fast-paced retail environment with a team of 5-10 people. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

Security and Safety:

The General Store Manager will require a basic security clearance.
