About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at 24/7 Quality Home & Health Care Services Ltd. as a Home Health Care Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Healthcare Practitioners: Collaborate with healthcare professionals during examinations and treatments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Patient Monitoring: Continuously monitor patients' conditions and advise physicians of any changes or concerns.
  • Documentation and Symptom Management: Accurately document patients' symptoms and changes in condition, and address any concerns in a timely manner.
  • Nursing Interventions: Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions and develop effective care plans.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare teams to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families.
  • Disease Screening and Education: Conduct disease screening and deliver health education programs to promote patient well-being.
  • Medication Administration: Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Home Care Management: Manage home care cases and ensure patients receive the necessary support and care.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment as required.
  • Nursing Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Hold a valid CPR Certificate and be eligible for licensure as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in the province of work.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload and high pressure to deliver quality care.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess excellent oral communication skills, be organized, reliable, and a team player.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
