We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Golden Links Lodge Personal Care Home. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our residents, focusing on geriatric and complex continuing care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide independent nursing services, including administration of prescribed medical treatments and leadership within the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians and professional healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination and discharge planning.
- Direct and supervise other nursing staff, students, and healthcare aides to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba.
- Knowledge of geriatric and complex continuing care principles, including Routine Practices and Universal Precautions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize care, delegate tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the Centre's Mission Statement, Residents' Bill of Rights, and Code of Conduct.
