About the Role
Mint is an independent creative agency that is dedicated to producing innovative solutions for our clients. We are seeking a talented Director, Human Capital Development to join our team and contribute to the growth of our organization.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to attract top-tier talent, overseeing recruitment, and managing seamless onboarding while championing DEI efforts. Additionally, they will serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, promote a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging workplace, and advocate for company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Develop and execute strategies to attract top-tier talent, oversee recruitment, and manage seamless onboarding while championing DEI efforts.
- Employee Relations & Culture: Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, promote a high-performance, inclusive, and engaging workplace, and advocate for company culture.
- Policy & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date HR policies, ensure legal compliance, and advise senior leadership on strategy and planning.
- Performance & Development: Oversee performance evaluations and lead training curriculums and programs to address skills gaps and support career growth.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage competitive compensation and benefits plans, ensuring alignment with industry benchmarks and employee needs.
- Health, Safety, & Wellness: Implement workplace safety programs, promote wellness initiatives, and ensure a safe, supportive work environment.
- HR Systems & Data: Maintain HR systems (HRIS, ATS), ensure accurate personnel records, and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
- Leadership Collaboration: Align people strategies with business goals, partnering with leadership to implement consistent HR practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or equivalent, with 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including managing complex employee relations issues.
- Experience in creative agencies or fast-paced environments, with strong recruitment expertise.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and act as a trusted advisor across all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Experience with HR systems (HRIS, ATS) and G-Suite tools, with strong data and reporting capabilities.
- Agile, resourceful, and emotionally intelligent, with the ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic environment.
What We Offer
- A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
