Key Responsibilities- Perform greenhouse cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Harvest seedlings and transplant them to larger pots or directly into the ground.
- Weed and prune plants to promote healthy growth and prevent pests and diseases.
- Pot and re-pot plants to ensure they have the right amount of soil and nutrients.
- Assist in the cultivation of a variety of plants, including ferns, native plants, perennials, bedding plants, and seasonal plants.
As a Greenhouse Worker, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Will to learn and take direction.
- Availability to work 40 to 42 hours per week.
The primary language of work is English.
