Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Best Western Plus Revelstoke.
Job Summary:The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating the purchase of equipment and supplies, and maintaining financial records.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff
- Select and purchase equipment and supplies
- Maintain financial records and prepare budgets
- Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
- Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms
- Co-ordinate maintenance and repair services
- Respond to guest complaints
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of quality
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team
The Housekeeping Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a large workload. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
