Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Best Western Plus Revelstoke.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This includes supervising a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating inventory and supplies, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Coordinate the purchase and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve housekeeping efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of housekeeping operations, including inventory and supply levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
- 3 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in supervising and coordinating housekeeping operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
