About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Creative Director to lead our brand design team at EA Sports FC. As a key member of our creative organization, you will be responsible for shaping the development of our brand identity across all player touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive brand design strategies to drive business growth and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design principles and ensure a cohesive brand experience across in-game and out-of-game touchpoints.
  • Oversee the creation of world-class integrated brand design systems, including brand images, logos, typography, color, graphic elements, iconography, and motion-based solutions.
  • Partner with studio teams to execute marketing campaigns and live services content from a brand design perspective.
  • Present work and build alignment with senior partners across multiple teams.
  • Lead and direct internal designers, as well as brief and direct external agencies and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain the EA Sports FC brand style guide and ensure consistency and quality benchmarks are met in execution.
  • Interpret creative feedback and data into iterative design, as part of a multi-revision process.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of branding experience as a creative director or design director at a brand or design agency, with at least three years of leadership experience managing multiple designers.
  • Understanding of the comprehensive strategic brand design process, design trends, and best practices.
  • Phenomenal branding/design track record, with experience creating for global brands in digital, print, experiential, and environmental channels, as well as experience creating design systems.
  • Ability to provide clear direction to design teams and sell through concepts and executions both visually and verbally to individuals at all levels of the company.
  • Experience working across multiple brand equities and hierarchies, and understanding how they're interconnected.
  • Excellent hands-on design, typography, and layout skills.
  • Experience with game UI design, 3D, motion design, and photoshoot direction are a huge plus.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • You love football: the game, the culture, the athletes, and the stories that surround this incredible and dynamic sport.
  • You have experience in similar global sports.
