Design the Future of Football with EA SPORTS FC

EA SPORTS is a leading brand in the entertainment industry, connecting hundreds of millions of people worldwide to the sports they love through a portfolio of industry-leading video games.

We're redefining football with EA SPORTS FC, a genre-leading ecosystem of interactive experiences that brings a global community of football fans closer to The World's Game. As a key member of our Experience Design team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of football and creating immersive experiences that delight and inspire millions of players around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mobile experiences that seamlessly integrate into a delightful user experience of FC.
  • Collaborate with the Game Design Director and Experience Design Team to create experiences that surprise, delight, and inspire.
  • Leverage and evolve the established FC Design System and Visual Identity to craft visual and interactive solutions.
  • Take ownership of design features autonomously and iterate on presentation and interaction to ensure pixel-perfect and engaging experiences.
  • Develop and maintain strong creative and collaborative partnerships across disciplines to further develop the mobile experience and visual language.
  • Find opportunities to improve implementation standards, process, and collaborative workflows.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate, rationalize, and empathize with user needs effectively.
  • Be a mentor and foster a culture of growth and education within the XD team while being a champion for experience design within the organization.
  • Deliver all phases of production from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with the product's goals, usability, and accessibility standards.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer or in a similar position in the development of mobile experiences with emphasis on entertainment and games.
  • Expert level understanding of how to design for device comfort and screen resolution.
  • Expert level understanding of unique interactivities within mobile and the opportunity it presents (multi-sensory aspect of design considerations: tactility, visual, and audio continuity).
  • An eye for detail and visual composition with the ability to create visually stunning solutions (e.g., layouts, information organization, typography, color theory).
  • Knowledge of technical constraints, optimization, and implementation are a plus.

What We Offer:

  • Base salary ranges: $96,400 - $133,900 CAN Annually (British Columbia)
  • A package of benefits including vacation, sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plan.
  • Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
