We are seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team at Fenix Construction and Labour Services Inc. This is a unique chance to utilize your expertise in drywall installation, repair, and finishing while working on various construction projects.

About the Role:
  • Supervise other workers on job sites and instruct apprentices on proper techniques.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
  • Tape over joints using taping machines and embed tape in compound.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tenders and quotations for clients.
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
  • Assist in estimating project timelines and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • Drywall Taper with 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Benefits:
