Drywall Taper Job Description

Fenix Construction and Labour Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Drywall Taper to join our team. As a Drywall Taper, you will be responsible for preparing tenders and quotations, instructing apprentices, and supervising other workers. You will also measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, smooth out excess compound, and tape over joints using a taping machine.

Work Environment

As a Drywall Taper, you will work in a variety of locations, including dusty environments. You will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in drywall finishing
  • Permanent employment
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
