About the Role

The Team Lead is responsible for leading the store team and supporting the store manager in creating a collaborative environment that fosters inclusion and positive relationships. To ensure the store's success, the Team Lead will direct and guide the team to achieve sales and profitability goals. They will also participate in recruitment, performance management, training, and development. Adaptability to different situations, environments, challenges, tasks, and varying work schedules is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the store meets the company's objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Lead the store by ensuring tasks are well-distributed (company policies and procedures, loss prevention, payroll, report production, and scheduling).
  • Implement merchandising strategies while providing a clean, consistent, and welcoming environment that encourages customers to shop.
  • Act as a mentor and guide team members, providing immediate feedback.
  • Establish open and effective communication with the store manager and district manager.

Qualifications

  • At least six months of experience leading a team or as a supervisor in a customer-focused work environment.
  • Experience in mobilizing a team to achieve a common goal.
  • High school diploma or equivalent general education.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment while committing to providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Majority (at least 18 years old).
  • Quebec only: bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
