About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Building Structure team at WSP Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct project teams (engineers and technicians) in the execution of projects (design and construction supervision);
  • Lead, mentor, support, and guide engineers and technicians in the design of our offices in the Greater Quebec Region;
  • Participate in internal peer review workshops;
  • Prepare cost estimates for work;
  • Write technical reports and opinions;
  • Establish relationships with clients within the context of projects;
  • Ensure project quality according to WSP's internal procedures;
  • Develop project schedules and work plans and track progress;
  • Manage project risks and opportunities;
  • Manage and supervise subcontractors according to WSP's procurement procedures;
  • Support the work of specialized resources in preparing service offers and actively participate in their realization;
  • Manage project finances (tracking of honorarium budgets, invoicing, and progress tracking);
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety procedures in your project teams;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, ideally in Building Structure (or equivalent);
  • Bonus: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification;
  • Valid permit from the Order of Engineers of Quebec;
  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in design in the field of building structures and 5 years in project management;
  • Ability to manage multiple and/or complex projects for public or private sectors at all times;
  • Superior communication, organization, leadership, and presentation skills;
  • Strong ability to create and maintain strong client relationships;
