About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker Helper to join our team at Good Call Heating & Air Conditioning Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, Unload, and Transport Construction Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Read Blueprints and Determine Work Requirements: Carefully read blueprints and determine work requirements to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
  • Erect and Dismantle Concrete Forms, Scaffolding, Ramps, Catwalks, Shoring, and Barricades: Assist in the erection and dismantling of concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Clean and Pile Salvaged Materials: Clean and pile salvaged materials in a safe and organized manner, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Remove Rubble and Other Debris at Construction Sites: Safely remove rubble and other debris from construction sites, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, with a physically demanding workload. You must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy materials and equipment, as well as work at heights and in confined spaces.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week, with a permanent employment arrangement.
