About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Worker Helper to join our team at Good Call Heating & Air Conditioning Limited. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for assisting our sheet metal workers in various tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Materials: Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, ensuring they are properly secured and transported to the work site.
  • Read Blueprints: Read and interpret blueprints to determine work requirements, ensuring accurate execution of tasks.
  • Erect and Dismantle Structures: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Clean and Organize: Clean and pile salvaged materials, maintaining a tidy work site.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work, including removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy materials, as the work can be physically demanding.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
