Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Welding Machine Operator Assistant to join our team at Singh Metal Fabrication Limited. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our metal fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers in their daily tasks.
  • Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Load and unload vehicles to facilitate the transportation of materials and products.
  • Polish metal products to a mirror finish to meet our high-quality standards.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced production environment with a high level of physical activity.
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential for this role.
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Work under pressure to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
  • Sound discrimination is required to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Overtime may be required to meet production demands.
