Dynamic Research Coordinator Position for a Collaborative University Team

Job Description
The Research and Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative, financial, and logistical support to the Associate Dean of Research, overseeing daily operations in the Environment Research Office. Key responsibilities include managing research grant applications, tracking progress, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders. The role also involves analyzing research operations, recommending procedural changes, and providing research information and guidance.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing internal research operations and recommending procedural changes
- Managing research grant applications, tracking progress, and communicating with stakeholders
- Providing research information and guidance, including advice on funding opportunities and eligibility requirements
- Maintaining databases and records relevant to research processes
- Facilitating cash and in-kind support requests from faculty members
- Preparing memos, notices, and announcements related to research communication
- Supporting the organization of meetings and events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years' experience in an administrative position, preferably in a university setting
- Strong knowledge of grant applications requirements and procedures
- Evidence of comprehensive data collection, interpretation, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to respond to funding questions and solve problems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated level of maturity, competence, diplomacy, and professionalism
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Estimated Salary: $62,000 - $75,000 per year
